New Hours of Service Regulations

to Retain 11 Hour Daily Driving Limits

In a move that was surprising to many, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) on Tuesday will publish new hours-of-service rules which basically maintains much of  the current hours of service rules. The proposal, which originally surfaced nearly two years ago, was pushing a ten hour driving rule.  The final rule also retains the 70 hours week and requires a 30 minute break during an 8hour window.   There is also a new formula for the clock restart.

We're sharing these links that provide complete information on the new Hours-of-Service Rules.
