Truck Bail Bond Cards

Mid-West Truckers Association is approved by the State of Illinois to issue Truck Bail Bond Cards to its members that are accepted in all counties in Illinois, except Cook County. These Truck Bail Bond Cards can be used for any violations of the Illinois Motor Vehicle Code requiring bonds up to $300.00 (speeding, overweight, etc). The real value of the Truck Bail Bond Card will be recognized when you or your drivers do not have the cash available or when serious charges are involved requiring bail of up to $300.00. The Truck Bail Bond Card should eliminate the problem of having your truck detained at state weigh scales for several hours and cause you to miss loading or unloading time, or keep you from an additional run or two (which in every case may cost you hundreds of lost dollars).

Illinois State Police records indicate the $300 Truck Bail Bond Card will be sufficient to take care of 80 to 85% of all overweight fines issued in Illinois. With that consideration in mind, I believe it's worthwhile for every Mid-West Truckers Association member to have a Truck Bail Bond Card for each of their drivers. These Truck Bail Bond Cards are transferrable only by the Association. If one of your drivers leaves your employ, you should immediately secure his card as you will be responsible if it is used.

Please note, the Mid-West Truckers Association card is worth up to $300 for bail. Any other bail bond cards you might have, regardless of the amount of bond it might state on the card, is not worth more than $75.00 in the State of Illinois.
